MMIWG2S+ Family and Survivor Healing Project will promote, encourage, and empower through Indigenous led awareness projects by providing family and survivors; who are directly or indirectly affected by a missing and murdered Indigenous woman, girl, or 2S+ individual, with holistic methods to healing ones: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life, through interactive activities, workshops, and sharing of culture. 

 

This project will deliver support to Bighorn, O’Chiese, and Sunchild First Nation’s, Metis and Inuit populations and Urban Indigenous living in or around the town of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta.
